Forward Deployed Engineer (f/m/d) - Remote in Germany

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera that show fast value to customers

• Identify valuable next use cases with customers

• Regularly visit customers (up to 40%)

• Fill missing functionality with scripts, web node automations and custom add-ins

• Optimize prompts of agents and multi-agent systems to make them reliable

• Communicate closely with Synera product managers to bring temporary solutions into the product

What a week at Synera might look like:

• Monday: You kick off the week with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) for your customer(s) to align on key priorities for the week.

• Tuesday: You build a new workflow for the extraction of costing-relevant CAD data on example geometries.

• Wednesday: You lead a workshop at one of your customers, working hands-on to incorporate the costing workflow into a multi-agent system on real data.

• Thursday: You keep up to date with the developer teams in their sprint review meeting and give valuable user insights to the product managers. You finalize the workflow.

• Friday: You join the knowledge exchange session with fellow FDEs and Solution Engineers.

We believe in transparent conversations about compensation from the start. For this role, our planned salary ranges are:

• Intermediate Level: 63,200-78,800 EUR (OTE)

• Experienced Level: 77,300-100,300 EUR (OTE)

OTE: total expected compensation if team performance targets are met, combining base salary and variable pay.

We determine the level we hire you for based on your experience, the scope of responsibilities you'll take on, and the impact you can drive. While we typically hire within these bands, we're open to some flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional value to the role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You have technical background in the Computational, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field.

• You have proven experience (~1-3 years) in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions.

• You have experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.).

• You have experience and/or deep interest in AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, vibe coding).

• You can juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• You enjoy collaborating with clients and explaining complex topics in a clear, engaging manner.

• You are a native German speaker or have professional-level German proficiency, enabling you to communicate confidently and effectively with customers.

• Customer Engagement: This role includes around 40% travel for customer visits, workshops, and on-site collaboration.

• If you already have working experience with Synera and/or C# and Python coding it’s a plus 🍰
